About Abigail Waxman
A former publishing executive and entrepreneur, Abby, a true native New Yorker, employs her well-practiced business and negotiating skills to the benefit of clients seeking to buy or sell a home or investment property or to find just the right rental. In addition to being intelligent and hard working, Abby has a fun personality that makes the process enjoyable rather than stressful. First trained as an opera singer, Abby studied composition and music arranging at Mannes College of Music and Manhattan School of Music, and later “modulated” into Jazz. Along with assisting at a Learning Center in Spanish Harlem, Abby has been a volunteer for over 30 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital, talking and listening to patients. A student of Publishing and Graphic Communications at New York University and Fashion Institute of Technology, Abby worked in the publishing industry before opening her own printing company, SANS GAIL GRAPHICS, which she operated for two decades. Born in Upstate New York, Abby has made New York City her home for more than half her life. She can often be heard singing her own songs in venues from Birdland, “the Jazz Corner of the World” on 44th Street and 8th Avenue, to the Lenox Lounge at 125th Street. “Helping people to find a place of warmth and comfort –a wonderful space of their own to unwind and call home –is a privilege,” says Abby.
